Model Airplane Factory offers handmade USAF Gulfstream IV C-20 Wood Model Airplane, artistically created from the finest grade of kiln-dried Mahogany wood. After carving the wood, the C-20 Gulfstream IV wooden display model airplane will undergo stages of fine sanding, between primer coats, to produce a silky smooth finish ready for final painting. This Gulfstream 4 model airplane has a dimension of 12.5" wingspan and has a length of 14.5". Gulfstream IV model airplane is attached to a durable wooden base so you can place it wherever you like it!


The C-20A and B modes are powered by two Rolls Royce Spey Mark 511-8 engines. The primary difference between the C-20A and B model is the electrical system and the avionics package. Two Rolls Royce Tay Mark 611-8 engines power the C-20H. The Tay Mark 611-8 engines provide greater performance, greater range and are quieter than A and B models. The C-20H is also slightly longer than A and B models, and has an upgraded avionics package and interior.

Entering the inventory in 1995 and 1996, the three C-20H aircraft are the only SAM aircraft that met FAA/ICAO Stage III restrictions. Using B-model aircraft as “trade ins” to help offset their purchase, these state-of-the-art Gulfstream IV(SP) derivatives bring an extended range and improved communications capability to the C-20 fleet. This extended range provides non-stop flights from Andrews to Europe, reducing travel time and costly enroute support stops. There are no upgrade or modernization efforts required for these aircraft and their usable service life extends well into the 21st century.

Gulfstream introduced the "special performance" Gulfstream IV-SP (GIV-SP) in 1992. The enhanced aircraft featured increased takeoff and landing weight, which allowed for heavier payloads and more flexibility in outfitting. It also featured an enhanced landing package that included structural improvements to the landing gear, upgraded antilock brakes and new wheels and tires. The GIV-SP also included an extended service warranty.
