Model Airplane Factory, makers of hand made model aircraft, presents to you our SNJ-3 Texan display mahogany model. Navy SNJ Texan Trainer wood model airplane showcases the exact markings of the actual SNJ-3 Texan aircraft and has a wingspan of 15.75 inches, fuselage length of 10.75 inches. The SNJ Texan wooden model plane is made to recognized collector scale of 1/32 for enhanced value. The SNJ Texan Trainer mahogany model airplane is supplied with a mahogany base for display.


The T-6 is known by a variety of designations depending on the model and operating air force. The USAAC called it the "AT-6", the US Navy, the "SNJ", and British Commonwealth air forces, the Harvard. It remains a popular warbird aircraft. It was manufactured by North American Aviation. Its maiden flight was on the 1st of April 1935.

One of its variant is the AT-6A which was based on the NA-77 design and was powered by the Pratt & Whitney R-1340-49 Wasp radial engine. The USAAF received 1,549 and the US Navy 270 (as the SNJ-3).
