After passing through several stages of sanding and priming, our talented artists paint and detail the Sikorsky HH53 helicopter model display with historically correct markings of the Sikorsky HH-53. Sikorsky HH53 model is hand carved from solid mahogany and completely hand painted. The process starts from carving the fuselage and the intakes on the fuselage sides to the HH-53 Green Giant cruciform tail design, to the assembly and final polishing of the HH-53 Super Jolly Green Giant model wooden helicopter display. From raw kiln-dried mahogany wood, it undergoes processes to accomplish a precise Sikorsky HH-53 model display helicopter; from carving, sanding, coating, painting and detailing to a creatively done wooden replica of the Sikorsky HH53. HH53 Green Giant helicopter model display is attached to a durable wooden base so you can place it wherever you like it!


The Sikorsky HH-53 "Super Jolly Green Giant" is a USAF version of the CH-53 Sea Stallion helicopter for long-range combat search and rescue (CSAR) helicopters. It was developed to replace the HH-3 "Jolly Green Giant"". The HH-53s were later upgraded as MH-53 Pave Low series.

The US Air Force ordered HH-53B and HH-53C variants for Search and Rescue units, and developed the MH-53J Pave Low version for Special Operations missions.
