Our Short Tucano T1 display wooden aircraft model is a beautiful, handmade authentic replica, made from the very finest grade of select kiln-dried mahogany wood and painstakingly decorated by our skilled craftsmen. After passing through several stages of sanding and priming, our talented artists paint and detail the Short Tucano T1 model airplane display with historically correct markings of the T1 Tucano RAF. The details of the T1 Tucano RAF such as the insignia, logos, body number, and squadron are carefully and artistically painted in the Tucano T1 RAF model display for precision. The process starts from carving the fuselage and the intakes on the fuselage sides to the Tucano T1 RAF cruciform tail design, to the assembly and final polishing of the T1 Tucano RAF display model. Short Tucano T1 display airplane is hand carved from solid mahogany and completely hand painted.
The Short Tucano T1 (S.312) is a two seat turboprop basic trainer used by the Royal Air Force. It is a licence-built version of the Brazilian Embraer EMB-312 Tucano, and is also used by the air forces of Kenya and Kuwait.
