Model Airplane Factory offers you this elegant SNJ Texan Navy wooden model made from finest kiln-dried mahogany wood. After carving the wood, the SNJ Texan plane wooden will undergo stages of fine sanding, between primer coats, to produce a silky smooth finish ready for final painting. After passing through several stages of sanding and priming, our talented artists paint and detail the Navy SNJ Texan wood trainer model with historically correct markings of the North American SNJ Texan. The details of the North American SNJ Texan such as the insignia, logos, body number, and squadron are carefully and artistically painted in the SNJ Texan wooden airplane trainer model for precision. SNJ Texan wooden airplane trainer is attached to a durable wooden base so you can place it wherever you like it!

North American's rapid production of the T-6 Texan coincided with the wartime expansion of the United States air war commitment. As of 1940, the required flights hours for combat pilots earning their wings had been cut to just 200 during a shortened training period of seven months. Of those hours, 75 were logged in the AT-6. US Navy pilots flew the airplane extensively, under the SNJ Texan designation, the most common of these being the SNJ-4, SNJ-5 and SNJ-6.
