Model Airplane Factory offers you this elegant Air Force Marauder B-26 model bomber aircraft wood made by our gifted artists. The rich color paint scheme and markings of the Air Force Marauder B-26 are cautiously painted to the assembled Marauder B-26 aircraft model. The process starts from carving the fuselage and the intakes on the fuselage sides to the Marauder B-26 cruciform tail design, to the assembly and final polishing of the Air Force Marauder B-26 model . Air Force Marauder B26 model bomber wood plane is hand carved from solid mahogany and completely hand painted. Every Marauder B26 airplane model is a work of art.
The B-26 was phased out of Army Air Force service before the end of the war. Its last mission was flown in May 1945. According to an article in the April edition of AOPA Pilot on Kermit Weeks's "Fantasy of Flight", the Marauder had a tendency to "hunt" in yaw. This instability is similar to "Dutch roll". This would make for a very uncomfortable ride, especially for the tail gunner.
