Model Airplane Factory, makers of hand made model planes, presents to you our F111 Aardvark bomber jet. After carving the wood, the Aardvark F111 model bomber jet will undergo stages of fine sanding, between primer coats, to produce a silky smooth finish ready for final painting. The process starts from carving the fuselage and the intakes on the fuselage sides to the F-111 Aardvark cruciform tail design, to the assembly and final polishing of the USAF Aardvark F-111 wooden airplane. Aardvark F-111 airplane jet is hand carved from solid mahogany and completely hand painted. The Air Force F111 Aardvark jet model will be painted according to the specific color scheme of the F111 Aardvark for their historical significance and authenticity. Multiple coats of clear lacquer is applied in Aardvark F-111 airplane bomber model to protect the exquisite artwork and provide an overall glossy finish. After passing through several stages of sanding and priming, our talented artists paint and detail the Aardvark F-111 plane model with historically correct markings of the F111 Aardvark.


The General Dynamics F-111 is a medium-range strategic bomber, reconnaissance, and tactical strike aircraft designed in the 1960s. The United States Air Force (USAF) variants were officially named "Aardvark", their longtime nickname, at their ceremony of retirement from service in 1996. The only remaining operator of the F-111 is the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF), and in Australian service the F-111 is known as the "Pig."
