After passing through several stages of sanding and priming, our talented artists paint and detail the Boeing EA-18 Growler airplane jet display with historically correct markings of the Navy Growler EA-18G. Our EA-18G Growler model is a beautiful, handmade authentic replica, made from the very finest grade of select kiln-dried mahogany wood and painstakingly decorated by our skilled craftsmen. From raw kiln-dried mahogany wood, it undergoes processes to accomplish a precise Navy Growler display jet model; from carving, sanding, coating, painting and detailing to a creatively done wooden replica of the Boeing EA-18 Growler. The rich color paint scheme and markings of the EA-18G Growler are cautiously painted to the assembled Boeing EA18 Growler model plane. The process starts from carving the fuselage and the intakes on the fuselage sides to the EA18G Growler cruciform tail design, to the assembly and final polishing of the Navy Growler airplane wood. The details of the EA-18G Growler such as the insignia, logos, body number, and squadron are carefully and artistically painted in the Boeing EA18 Growler display plane for precision.


The Boeing EA-18G Growler is a carrier-based electronic warfare version of the two-seat F/A-18F Super Hornet. It began production in 2007 and is slated for fleet deployment in 2009. The EA-18G will replace the Navy's EA-6B Prowler. An electronic attack version of the F/A-18F, the EA-18G Growler will replace the Navy's EA-6B Prowler. An F/A-18F "F-1" was re-fitted with ALQ-99 electronic-warfare system, and successfully completed an initial flight demonstration of the EA-18 Airborne Electronic Attack (AEA) concept aircraft flight on November 15, 2001.
