Model Airplane Factory, makers of hand made model aircraft, presents to you our British Sopwith Camel military fighter . The details of the British Sopwith Camel such as the insignia, logos, body number, and squadron are carefully and artistically painted in the British Camel fighter model for precision. From raw kiln-dried mahogany wood, it undergoes processes to accomplish a precise British Sopwith Camel model fighter; from carving, sanding, coating, painting and detailing to a creatively done wooden replica of the British Camel. After carving the wood, the British Camel display model will undergo stages of fine sanding, between primer coats, to produce a silky smooth finish ready for final painting. Every part and detail of the British Sopwith Camel military aircraft wooden is given equal attention to retain the actual specification of the British Camel Scout. The British Sopwith Camel wood model airplane fighter is supplied with a mahogany base for display.

The Camel was nevertheless successful in combat. It offered heavier armament and better performance than the preceding Pup and Triplane. Its controls were light and sensitive. The Camel turned slowly to the left with a nose-up attitude, but turned very sharply to the right with a nose-down attitude. Because it was tail heavy, the plane also looped quickly. Agility in combat made the Camel one of the best remembered Allied aircraft of the First World War. It was said to offer a choice between a "wooden cross, red cross and Victoria Cross." Together with the S.E.5a, the Camel helped to wrest aerial superiority away from the German Albatros scouts. The Camel was credited with shooting down 1,294 enemy aircraft, more than any other Allied scout.
