T-38 Talon Thunderbirds wooden trainer is hand carved from solid mahogany and completely hand painted. Every part and detail of the T-38 Talon Thunderbirds display trainer wood aircraft is given equal attention to retain the actual specification of the T-38 Talon Thunderbirds. The model wooden display is meticulously carved and painted to reflect the true detail of the original Talon T-38 USAF. Talon T38 USAF trainer model includes hand-made armaments to represent real weapon loads based on the original T-38 Talon Thunderbirds. The process starts from carving the fuselage and the intakes on the fuselage sides to the Talon T38 USAF cruciform tail design, to the assembly and final polishing of the T-38 Talon Thunderbirds wooden airplane. The T38 Talon Thunderbirds aircraft display trainer is supplied with a mahogany base for display.


In response to the fuel crisis, the Thunderbirds aerobatic display team of the U.S. Air Force adopted the T-38 Talon which used far less fuel than the F-4 Phantom. (The Blue Angels downsized to the A-4 Skyhawk at roughly the same time). It was replaced in this role by the front-line F-16A "Fighting Falcon" in 1983.
